Belle has been training hard for her 2 huge upcoming races at Yandina50 and Gold Coast Marathon.. juggling both trails and roads, staying consistent with training and getting plenty of variety in to prepare for both events! She even managed a finish at the recent Noosa Ultra Trail 25km.. great stuff @belle.runs keep up the great work!

March Winner
Our @tailwindnutritionau Monthly Community Spirit Award winner is @liamfinlay !! Liam crushed the Blackall 100 at the back end of last year and has since been training strong, then smashing the 50k at @noosaultratrail last weekend!! (He was even gracious enough to accept his prize mid-race!) When Liam races, he always has a smile on his face (and an orange Snails hat!) and we love having the big-rig on the team Congrats Liam!

February Winner
Our @tailwindnutritionau Monthly Community Spirit Award Winner for February is Simon Macauley! @simonmac81 just recently finished in the @hardcoreharrys last one standing challenge where he lasted 43 days and was in the final 8 runners of the whole bloody thing! Tackling over 1100km in total across his 43 days he showed grit and determination and did it all in classic Simon style with a smile on his face and sharing the good times and KM with friends! Simon is the kind of Snail who is always bringing the vibes at every single run, banging out loud Taylor Swift songs and taking selfies with anyone that will let him! Well done Simon, incredible stuff!

January Winner
Fred Wells
Freddy!! @freddy10101 is our January @tailwindnutritionau Monthly Community Spirit Award winner! We couldn’t think of a better person to kick off the 2026 awards - nominated by multiple members of our community - Fred is one of those runners who is the first to send messages of encouragement and support, sacrifice his race to run with others to make sure everyone has their best day, and when it’s all done he’s there to congratulate everyone else. He’s also a laid back, cool dude who embodies what trail running and The Trail Snails are all about! His troublesome appendix is now toast and he’s ready for a huge 2026! Luv ya Freddy!
December Winner
Congratulations to @leahbenintendi our December winner of our @tailwindnutritionau Community Spirit award! After a run of injuries, Leah has been back on the trails and hitting the gym in preparation for the Jabulani Challenge 22km and UTA 22km in 2026, with the hopes of building her way back to the Ultra distances! She’s been consistent with her training and getting stronger week by week - and now has some Tailwind to fuel that training and recovery!

November Winner
Our November winner of the @tailwindnutritionaust Community Spirit Award, Ben Russell! Ben recently ran @redsbackyardultra - where he also won the “Spirit of Red’s” Award - and we couldn’t agree more! Not only did he improve on his PB of 11 at only his second ever backyard, completing 25 yards and almost 170km, but he did so with a smile on his face every lap, chatting with runners and cheering everyone on, and helping to crew late into night 2 for the eventual winner Ezra whilst barely sleeping himself! A wise man once said - “whoever has the most fun, wins!” So we saw it fitting that he is our monthly winner! Thanks for being a part of our Snail Community @bennyred777

October Winner
Congratulations to Tom Curry who is the October Winner of our Tailwind Community Spirit Award! Tom is a true gentleman and such a positive force within the Snails community - always supporting fellow runners with words of encouragement and kudos for a job well done. As far as his own running goes, the man trains hard and is always looking for new events that he can have a crack at, experience new trails and meet new people!

Congratulations to Grace! She is our September 2025 winner of our Tailwind Community Spirit award! Grace has been working hard preparing for Kosci 30km in November - running her longest distance ever over the weekend - doing it with a smile on her face on our group run and supporting her fellow Snails! We can’t wait to see her smash her goals this year. Onya Grace!!
